Walter Kowalczyk

Walter Kowalczyk comes to SEG with 30 plus years experience in public safety and emergency
management. Mr. Kowalczyk leads, manages and oversees client operations as the firm's senior
program manager. Mr. Kowalczyk is a credentialed and seasoned subject matter expert possessing
extensive experience in planning for, and managing, all hazards emergency preparedness programs,
mass casualty incidents, health and hospital preparedness and continuity and recovery programs. Mr.
Kowalczyk possesses thousands of hours of HSEEP based exercise experience.

Mr. Kowalczyk retired from FDNY as an Assistant Chief/Division Commander and has served as an
Emergency Manager with the Medisys Health Care Network where he was responsible for broad
emergency preparedness solutions for a network comprosed on many multiple hospitals and allied
care facilities.
